FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR MEMBERS & STAFF WE HAVE A NEW SAFETY PROTOCOL IN PLACE

The safety and well being of our staff and members is our highest priority and for those reasons due to the Pandemic we have established the following COVID-19 Safety Protocol:

1) All Staff and youth must wear a mask at all times.
2) All must practice safe social distancing, stay 6' from each other at all times.
3) Everyone must wash hands before entering the LYC facility, and after using the restroom.
4) Everyone must sanitize their hands after each activity, and as needed.
5) All youth must be registered to participate each quarter. (Due to space restrictions we are serving only 24 youth a quarter. If we reach registration capacity, youth will be added to a waiting list.)
6) Youth will be assigned to an "Ohana Group" each quarter so that risk of exposure is minimized.
7) Temperature checks will be conducted at our designated sign in station. If a child marks a temperature of 100.4 we will call to notify parents and ask that they be taken to the doctor. Youth will not be allowed to return to the LYC without a doctors note saying they were cleared to come back to the LYC.
8) Youth will not be allowed to sign in and out multiple times through out the day. Once the youth has signed out, it will be for the day.
9) Youth will be issued individual supplies for all activities.
10) In the case, that activities require youth to wear gloves, they will be provided.
11) Youth will be signed in & out electronically by staff.
12) Snacks & meals will be served on disposable plates, and disposable cups & forks will also be provided.
13) Parents are not allowed in the Lāna'i Youth Center activity rooms, if you need to pick up or check in on your Keiki please call the center at (808) 565-7675.
